A fairly new-comer to the aquarium hobby, the Celestial Pearl Danio has become a big sensation in community tanks. This danio was only discovered in 2006. It is a very timid fish. It stands out in planted tanks, or tanks with plenty of aqua-scaping.
One of the best tetras for the ?general? community setup. It is lively, peaceful and its colours offer a pleasing contrast to those of many other species. It?s a good tankmate for most commonly available livebearers, danionins, rasboras, other tetras and peaceful bottom dwellers such as Corydoras or smaller Loricariids.
The Threadfin Rainbowfish Iriatherina werneri is a subtle beauty in both its color and exquisite form. The elegant beauty of these fish may be rather hard to believe when you consider the size of this fish. They only grow to about 2 inches.?A school of Threadfin Rainbowfish in breeding condition is easily one of the most spectacular sights in the aquarium.
The Red Colombian Tetra “Hyphessobrycon colombianus” is a relatively recent addition to the list of aquarium specimens available for sale. This Colombian Tetra is a somewhat larger tetra than can be semi-aggressive with smaller tank mates and may fin nip fish with larger fins. They do really well in schools of 6 or more.
