The Green Moscow Guppies are a type of guppies that were developed in Russia back in the late 70’s/early 80’s. They were smuggled into the states in the 80’s. They were selectively bred for their beautiful green coloring. These guppies really pop against a 3D background.

Generally, they have a fuller body color and tend to be large for a guppy. As well, the females also display a lot of color. They also typically have long flowing fins and are generally a bright solid color(though body and fins may be a different shade of that color).They also have somewhat of a metallic sheen to them.
